The Parkinson Association of Illinois (PAIL) is the Illinois chapter of the
National Parkinson Foundation, Inc. (NPF). PAIL was established in 2006 by a
group of concerned and compassionate individuals: people who have been living with
Parkinson disease for many years, newly-diagnosed patients, young onset patients, friends
and family members of people with Parkinson, and professionals in the medical community.

Move and Groove
Fun ways to stay active every day.
April 27, 2008
This is just a sample story, but in one of the previous events there was a
presentation having to do with fun ways to exercise, move around, stay
active, and make it fun. Obviously we'll try to fill this area with blurbs
for real, longer stories, how-to's, editorials, or whatever, but for now
this is what will be here.
Since there's nothing here yet, and the website is under development, we're going to make this story a little bit longer and more useless for the purpose of doing website development and testing content layout.
As long as there's content, you'll have something to read. It won't take you anywhere, but it will be there. Keep on reading for more information, and feel free to follow the read-more link you're going to end up running into so you can read the whole story.

We are a not-for-profit organization
dedicated to improving the lives of people
affected by Parkinson disease. Pail's efforts are dedicated to providing support
and education to patients and their families, promoting awareness of Parkinson disease
in the community, and raising funds for research.
Our board is made up of local community members, including a medical advisor
and social welfare specialist, who have chosen to
reach out and help make a difference
